May 28, 2026 Last online meeting For Studends

 Despite some technical difficulties with sound and communication, we were happy to successfully hold the final online meeting of the students participating in our eTwinning project "One Smile Away – A Heart of Goals: Skills Me for Life." During the meeting, the students shared their favorite activities and reflected on the wonderful experiences they had throughout the project. We would like to sincerely thank all our partners for their excellent cooperation, friendship, and support. It has been a wonderful journey, and we hope to meet again in future eTwinning projects. Thank you all, and see you again soon! 🌍💙

One Smile Away – A Heart of Goals: Skills Me for Life - International Day for Biological Diversity

  nternational Day for Biological Diversity 🦋🌿 To celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity on 22 May , the students of the Special Educational Needs Class at Makri Gialos Primary School took part in activities focused on the importance of protecting biodiversity and wildlife. The students watched educational videos, read short informative texts, and discussed the amazing variety of plants and animals that share our planet, as well as the importance of protecting endangered species and their natural habitats. To conclude the activity, they expressed their ideas and creativity by creating beautiful drawings inspired by nature and biodiversity. Through this activity, our students developed environmental awareness and discovered that every living organism plays an important role in keeping our planet healthy and full of life. 🌍💚🐝🌸

Our students create an AI video based on the myth of King Midas! Primary School of Makri Gialos, Ierapetra – Crete, Greece Special Educational Needs Class Teacher: Anastasia Bourneli As part of the European eTwinning project “One Smile Away – A Heart of Goals: Skills Me for Life” , the students of the Special Educational Needs Class took part in a highly creative and innovative activity. With the guidance of their teacher, they created an AI-generated video based on the well-known myth of King Midas , offering their own modern and educational interpretation of the story. The students worked collaboratively, developed their creativity, and became familiar with the responsible use of digital tools and Artificial Intelligence, connecting ancient mythology with modern technology.
