International Migrants Day – Our Suitcase Is Ready! 🧳 Primary School of Makri Gialos, Ierapetra – Crete, Greece Special Educational Needs Class Teacher: Anastasia Bourneli As part of the eTwinning project "One Smile Away – A Heart of Goals: Skills Me for Life" , and in celebration of International Migrants Day , the students of the Special Educational Needs Class took part in a meaningful and engaging activity. The students discussed what personal belongings they would choose to take with them if they had to move to a new country. They reflected on the importance of these items and the feelings someone might experience when leaving their home behind. After the discussion, each student created a paper suitcase and filled it with drawings and pictures of the things they considered most important for a new beginning.
